In his first performance back in the prestigious Red Bull X-Fighters competition in over 2 years, Unit team rider Tom Pagès made his mark on the international FMX scene and proved to his competition that he was back in a big way!
With amazing runs including the incredibly dangerous ‘body varial’, giant 4th gear transfer jumps across the Glen Helen hills and some of the biggest whips ever seen on a motocross bike, Tom made it all the way through to the final round against USA rider Todd Potter. Tom was said to be attempting a ‘flair’ on the quarter pipe in his final run, which would have given him the edge needed to possibly win the event, however a mistake on his ‘body varial’ beforehand ended any hopes he had of topping his consistent competitor, Todd Potter.
In the end, Tom walked away with 2nd place, and a whole lot of confidence leading up to the next round of Red Bull X-Fighters in Istanbul on June 16.
